Cancelling your subscription

You can cancel Rung Pro at any time: go to Account → Subscription → “Manage subscription”. That opens a secure Stripe billing portal where you can cancel, change your payment method, or download invoices. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid month — you keep access until then, and you won't be charged again.

Your 14-day cooling-off right

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 you normally have 14 days from purchase to cancel a digital service for a full refund. At checkout we ask whether you want immediate access:

If you ticked the immediate-access box, you expressly consented to the service starting straight away and acknowledged losing the 14-day cancellation right once it began — so refunds for that period are not provided except where the law requires.

If you didn't tick it, your 14-day right stands: email rung@rung-app.com within 14 days of purchase and we'll refund you in full, to your original payment method, within 14 days of your request.

Faulty digital content — your statutory rights

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality. If something we supply is faulty, you're entitled to have it fixed (repair or replacement); if we can't fix it within a reasonable time, you're entitled to a price reduction — which can be up to the full amount you paid. Nothing in our Terms reduces these rights.

How to complain

Email rung@rung-app.com with "Complaint" in the subject. We aim to acknowledge within 2 working days and resolve within 14. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can pursue the matter through the courts of England & Wales, and you remain free to use any applicable alternative dispute resolution service. For data-protection concerns you can also contact the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Top-up purchases

AI allowance top-ups are consumed as you use them. Unused one-off top-up credit rolls over month to month while you remain subscribed. The cooling-off position above applies to top-ups in the same way: immediate-access consent at checkout waives the 14-day right; otherwise it stands for any unused credit.
